When you use Assevora, we collect information that you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, and profile information. When participating in an assessment, we may collect examination responses, live video feeds (if proctoring is enabled by the organizing institution), and telemetry data to ensure exam integrity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services. This includes verifying identity during assessments, generating certificates, communicating important platform updates, and analyzing platform usage to enhance the user experience.

3. Proctoring and Google Integrations

Live Proctoring: If an organization requires proctored exams, local browser AI (MediaPipe) is used to monitor exam integrity. Video streams are temporarily transmitted securely via LiveKit SFU for live invigilation and are recorded for post-exam audits.

Google Workspace Integration: Assevora integrates with Google Forms to import tests and export results. We only access the specific forms and data that you explicitly grant us permission to read or write. Assevora's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with third-party service providers (such as hosting and video infrastructure) necessary to operate the platform, or with the specific organization/institution that is hosting the assessment you are participating in.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including end-to-end encryption for video streams and row-level security for database records. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
